Introducing Kinetic

We are thrilled to announce the launch of Kinetic, a cutting-edge lending and borrowing platform designed to provide liquidity to the thriving Flare Network ecosystem and bring it into a new era of DeFi. By combining advanced technology with a user-centric approach, Kinetic offers a seamless platform for users to earn, borrow, and grow their digital assets.

Developed by our experienced Rome Blockchain Labs team, Kinetic offers lenders competitive yields by supplying assets to the platform, while borrowers can access liquidity in an over-collateralized structure. This innovative model, coupled with the potential for block rewards, creates a dynamic and rewarding DeFi experience.

Kinetic expands DeFi possibilities by integrating FAssets, a Flare Labs innovation that allows traditionally non-smart contract assets like BTC, XRP, and DOGE to earn yields within the platform. By converting these assets into FAssets on Flare, users can unlock new opportunities in the DeFi ecosystem.

Kinetic will initially support stablecoins $USDC and $USDT, with $USDX coming soon. Additionally, we're excited to see it offering markets for $sFLR, the liquid staking token from our Sceptre protocol and Rome Blockchain Labs first venture in the Flare Network. While our team built the foundational technology for both Sceptre and Kinetic, the latter’s operations are managed by a specialized third-party team.

“As someone who has been involved with the releases of several protocols in the last year including 2 lending markets, I can say that this is the culmination of all our lessons from those launches. This time we've closely integrated two essential parts of any proof of stake network. Lending and Liquid Staking.  I can't wait to see these protocols work in tandem!”

- Alexander Elhorst, COO at Rome Blockchain Labs

We wish Kinetic and its team the best of luck. We look forward to exploring future collaborations and synergies between Kinetic, Sceptre, and other Flare Network platforms.
