Rome Recap: September 2024
We go over some of the highlights of September at Rome Blockchain Labs.
We had quite a busy September RBL! We've worked on new platforms, refined current ones, and are looking to integrate blockchain technology seamlessly with real-world applications—something we'll hopefully delve into next month. For now, let's go over some of the highlights from September:
Sceptre
Given the recent platform changes in August, we predicted September would be a challenging month for Sceptre, especially given that it was its first month working with a limited staking window. With that in mind, the team concentrated its efforts in producing content for the community, including an explainer video on how the sFLR v FLR exchange rate.
The Flare Factor also returned in September with two episodes featuring Josh Hardy, the creator of Raindex, and Derek Barrera, founder of Steer Protocol. You can catch them on Sceptre’s YouTube channel.
Rome Blockchain Labs
Our Rome Blockchain Labs blog has received a fresh makeover, bringing it into closer harmony with our brand’s aesthetic, which was reflected on the latest version of our website. Crafted by our Creative Director Milan Janicek, the redesign showcases Roman statues engaging in a diverse range of contemporary activities, offering a unique and unexpected twist on historical imagery.
The biggest event of the month in the world of blockchain was TOKEN2049, in Singapore. Our co-founder and CEO, Alexander Szul, was not only a participant but also a valuable contributor to the panel discussion 'DeFi as a key infrastructure need.
Finally, it was great seeing the RBL brand making its mark beyond the digital world. Our Senior UX/UI architect, Raúl Testa, through the local association Asteriscos, established a Rugby football school in Leiria, which RBL is delighted to support.
See you all next month!
